Health Data Collection Authorization

This authorization explains what information To Be Parents collects about you and what we do with it. It supplements our Privacy Policy and our Health Data Privacy Policy.

What we collect

To match you with people who fit what you are looking for, To Be Parents, operated by HYPERFOCUS TECH INC., collects the following from you:

Who you are and what you are here for: your profile type (a woman, a man, a couple, two women, two men) and your reproductive intent - whether you offer sperm, eggs, or to carry a pregnancy; whether you are looking for a sperm donor, an egg donor, or a surrogate; and whether you are open to co-parenting.
What a child could learn later: your contact preference as a donor, and the contact preference you want from a donor.
Where you are: country, region, and city. Never your street address; the coordinates behind your city are never displayed to anyone.
Your date of birth. Other users see only your age.
Physical attributes: height, weight, eye colour, hair colour, hair type.
Origins: one to three ancestry regions, and - only if you choose to answer - whether you have Jewish ancestry.
Background and lifestyle: occupation, education, religion, languages, smoking, alcohol, how far you are willing to travel, and your interests.
Your own words: the «About you» description you write.
Photos: your profile gallery and avatar. If you are a donor, the childhood photos you choose to add.
Role-specific answers. If you donate: how many times you have donated before, whether those donations led to a pregnancy, whether you have been pregnant yourself, who you are willing to donate to, and what you expect in return. If you carry: how many children you have, your previous surrogacy experience, who you are willing to carry for, and what you expect in return. If you co-parent: who could be your co-parent, where the child would live day to day, and how you would share the costs.
Medical details, only if you choose to give them: blood type and CMV status. These are used solely to suggest better matches and are shown to no one - see the Health Data Sharing Authorization.
Identity verification, only if you request it: we receive the outcome (approved or declined) and numeric confidence scores. Your selfie, the session video, and any facial geometry are processed by our verification provider and never reach us.
How you use the platform: likes, matches, profile views, reports, chat messages, and metadata about calls. We do not record call audio or video.
Your device: IP address and the coarse location derived from it, device model and operating system, app version, push-notification token.

How we use it

To create your profile, decide who to show you and who to show you to, operate chat and calls, keep the community safe, verify identity when you ask us to, support you when you write to us, improve the product, and comply with the law.

What we never do

We do not sell your reproductive health information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles from it. Service providers acting for us may use it only to operate the platform, never for their own purposes.

Your rights

This authorization is voluntary, and it is required to use To Be Parents. If you decline it, we delete your account: without permission to collect this information there is no service we can provide. You can withdraw later on the same terms, at any time, from your account settings or through our contact form.

If you decline before you have finished building your profile, there is nothing to keep: the account is erased immediately and completely, and the email address becomes free again at once, so you can sign up afresh whenever you like. Nothing is recoverable, because nothing is retained.

If you already have a profile, deleting the account hides it, along with your photos and your messages, from other users straight away, and everything is permanently erased within 30 days. If you change your mind inside that window, write to us through the contact form and we can restore it.

The optional parts of your reproductive health data - medical details, origins, role answers - can be deleted at any time by editing your profile, without closing your account.

How long this authorization lasts

Until you delete your account.
